Life insurance is something that a lot of people don’t like to think about or deal with. But, the truth is, everyone should have at least enough life insurance to cover their own funeral. I would never want to leave my family stuck paying that kind of bill because I didn’t think ahead while I had a chance. My mother always carried $15,000 worth of life insurance on me when I was a child, and now I have my own life insurance policy with $50,000 coverage. My family won’t have to worry about paying the cost of my funeral or paying household bills for a while if something would happen to me. Vacation to Disney World

Every year my brother in-law takes my oldest sister and their two kids on a vacation to Disney World. This has been a tradition for the past 3 years and they all really seem to enjoy it. My brother in-law and sister weren’t really sure what to expect the first time they went, but after they got their, they both said that as soon as you walk in, you feel like a kid again. They always find great deals on Orlando vacation packages and book them a few months in advance to save a little money. Hopefully I can start doing that sort of thing with my own family.

My Sister is Pregnant

My sister found out that she was pregnant last Thursday. She went to the doctor for a routine “female exam” and her doctor informed her that she was pregnant. She had no idea. She was very excited and also very scared at the same time. Her doctor recommended that she start taking an organic prenatal vitamin to keep herself and her baby healthy during the remainder of her pregnancy. I am so excited for her. Her boyfriend can’t believe that she is pregnant. He has been telling everyone he knows, even people he hasen’t talked to in years.

I’d have to say that acne on the neck is one of the most humiliating things that could ever happen to me. I took a girl to the movies recently and was appalled when I heard two people sitting in the back of me talking about my neck acne. I was embarrassed beyond belief and to make matters worst the acne was so painful I wish I had stayed at home. I’m grateful that even though they irritate me my acne isn’t as bad as some of the buddies that I know. I just use an AVON product which contains alpha hydroxy and the acne eventually went away.

I got pissed off last week after I received a letter in my inbox confirming my order for some teeth whitener. Thing is I never ordered teeth whitener and although my name and address is on it the credit card number does not match up to any of the cards that I owe. I had to call creditors about it and set up identity theft protection with my bank for my credit cards. Since I’ve been using the service the activity on my credit report has been stable and unchanged for the last two months which is really good. And I only pay five dollars for the protection. Not bad at all.

New Workout Room

New Exit Signs

My wife works at a daycare center and they were recently ordered to replace all of their exit signs by the city inspector. They just ordered and received 8 new ESW-SL Tritium self luminous exit signs with green face and black housing. They paid about $130 each for the signs, but they really do look great. They are nice and bright. You can’t miss them.

Trying A Different Fat Burner

Losing Weight For The New Year

One of my New Years resolutions is to lose about 25 pounds. I’ve been reading about a bunch of different weight loss supplements, appetite suppressants and fat burner products. Kitchen Remodeling and Home Improvement

About this time last year I decided to remodel my kitchen. I did all of it in 5 days while my wife was out of town at a conference with some of her co-workers. She came home and was completely surprised and shocked that I went through all of the trouble just to make her happy. I ordered some gorgeous floor tiles, new cabinets, new kitchen appliances, I put in a nice island in the middle of the kitchen with a cutting board surface on it for preparing meals and I ordered 3 new sets of pots and pans, brand new silverware, new lighting, just about anything you can think of. I really enjoy home improvement projects and wouldn’t mind taking on some home improvement jobs on the side.

Shopping Online For Christmas Gifts

Ive been doing most of my Christmas shopping online and I’ve placed 5 or 6 different Amazon books orders. Most of the items I’ve purchased online have came from Buy.com, eBay, Amazon and DeepDiscount. I’ve spent about half as much as my friends have spent, only because a lot of them refuse to order anything online using their credit cards, because they think it’s “unsafe” to order anything online and use your credit card. I’ve been ordering items online once or twice a week for the last 6 years and haven’t really ever had a bad experience.

Plasma TV Mount

Now that I finally invested in one of the Plasma mounts I found on sale, I’m staying home and watching a lot more TV. Just last month I paid close to two hundred dollars for a nice plasma wall mount that was very sturdy and I thought it was cool that it swiveled, tilted and even pan. I can’t say it was easy to set up but judging from the end result, it was all worth it.

My cousin recently applied for a job as a delivery driver. He was amazed to find what he was going to be delivering if he got the job. It was with a company that delivers surplus inventory to and from different warehouses where different stores store their inventory until they have room in their stores. When a store discontinues items, has overstock of products or has not sold items, they sell to distributors that buys these items, which they consider surplus inventory. Many stores stock up on these particular items then sell them at a reduced cost in their stores. When buying surplus inventory, it is usually bought in bulk. My cousin did get the job and said there was so much stuff that he delivered that he could not believe all the stores that bought that much of it. Sometimes people can purchase surplus inventory and save a lot of money and there is nothing defective with the products at all. It not only saves the seller, but also the buyer.

There are so many people that have very serious health problems, and do not know where to turn for help since they have problems getting, keeping, or working enough hours at a job to make enough money to pay their bills. Some of them are too proud and won’t apply for social security disability, even after their doctors tell them that they should. Many people that apply often end up waiting three years and longer before they are finally approved for social security disability. In the meantime, during the appeal times, people have a hard time paying their bills, buying food and often lose their homes, because of not being able to work. After they are approved, they are happy because they can finally catch up, or start over and can often get more assistance on medical bills and help from the state, if they do not make over a certain amount of money each month. Many of them also have to have someone come to their house to help them with housework, paperwork, bathing them, grocery shopping and other errands. My New Sleep Number Bed

I have been having trouble sleeping for quite some time now. I was shopping the other day and noticed the store I was in was having a big sale on beds. I decided to check their beds out and see if I could find a new one that was much more comfortable than mine. I found one that seemed like a really good price, so I bought it. It is a sleep number bed. You can change the comfort levels with just a switch of a button on a remote control device. They delivered it the next day. I could not believe the difference in how I slept and how rested I felt the next day. It was so much better. I’m so glad I chose to buy the one I did.

New Wireless Security System

I recently purchased a new ranch style home. I have two children that spend each weekend with me, so I was trying to get moved and everything set up before the following weekend came, after I closed on the home. It was all new to me, and the children so I had already decided to buy a wireless security system, but had to check them out first to find out how they were installed and how they worked. I was not sure if they would function as well as the wired ones. I researched and read about many of them on the internet, then went to stores that specialized in them. I was shocked how well hidden they could be inside, and outside, our home. You can even have it hooked up to your computer to observe everything on it, at all times. It is very interesting how they work and makes us all feel very safe. A wireless security system is one of the best purchases I have ever made for any home I’ve lived in.

Black Friday Is Awesome

I went to several different places for Black Friday sales this year. I ended up buying a new Wheatley Hill TV stand for our room, a bunch of DVDs, a few video games and some other stuff. Computer Memory Is An Easy Upgrade

It seems like we’re always ordering new computer memory for the computers in my office. I told them that they should order some memory in bulk to get a better price and we could just upgrade all of the computers at the same time, but the other office managers insist on doing it the hard way. Memory takes all of 2 seconds to install and I could upgrade all of the computers myself within half an hour’s time. They actually pay a computer tech to come in and install the memory in each computer. I think they pay him something like fifty bucks each. What a waste of money.

The other day I had to order a few new exit signs for one of our local offices. The exit sign near the main exit was about 15 years old and the letter X didn’t even light up anymore. I’m surprised that we didn’t get warned for the faulty sign by the Fire Marshal when he does his inspection. We decided to order all new signs so they would all match. I picked out the new exit signs and everyone seemed to be pleased with them. They are clear edge lit exit signs that illuminate the EXIT letters in red and have a battery backup. They really look great.

Picking The Right Self Defense Products

My girlfriend gets pretty nervous driving long distances by herself and going out at night with her girlfriends. I’ve been trying to get her to get a CCW permit to carry a handgun, but she doesn’t really feel comfortable around guns and she doesn’t think she would be able to use it if the time came. I’ve been showing her several different self defense products and she has been interested in a few of them. I think she’ll end up carrying a nice taser and some sort of mace-like spray.

Picking A Dining Room Chandelier

Thinking About Getting A CDL License

A while back I was checking out different CDL training that my company offers. I’ve been thinking about getting a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) for a while now, but I just haven’t taken the plunge, for whatever reason. I’m always offered various side jobs to deliver supplies and equipment, but everyone really prefers someone with a valid CDL for insurance reasons I suppose. My girlfriend has been nagging me to get my CDL license as well. I guess I’ll talk to the main office this next week and get the ball rolling.

I Wish I Could Live In Las Vegas

Over the years I have stayed at half of the hotel Las Vegas has to offer. I try and make it out to Las Vegas at least once a year if possible. It’s my favorite vacation destination of all time. Even if I don’t gamble and blow tons of money while im there, it’s just a great town. You can walk around all night outside and meet such a variety of fun and interesting people and there is so much more to do than just go to casinos and gamble. If you’ve never been there I highly recommend it.

I’m sick of wearing contacts. I’ve decided to buy a new pair of eyeglasses. Sometimes I don’t feel like jamming my contacts into my eyes every time I leave the house. Glasses will be a nice option. I always hated wearing glasses but now I’m kind of looking forward to it.

My New Kitchen Faucet Looks Great

Last month I replaced our kitchen faucet after I found a good deal on home remodeling supplies at a local do-it-yourself home improvement store. I really enjoy getting my hands dirty and starting new projects. I ended up using a very nice Moen Monticello single handle kitchen faucet that comes out a little farther than standard faucets. It really makes it handy to wash bigger things like pots and pans and it dresses up the kitchen sink quite a bit. I’m happy with the results and love how the faucet looks.

I really don’t see how so many acne treatment companies get away with advertising their products as the next big cure for acne. As a teenager I had very bad acne and out of all the acne treatments that I tried, maybe 5% of them actually works well enough to actually spend the money on. Thankfully today everyone is able to get online to read reviews on just about any product on earth. My young nephew recently told me about a website called AcneCuresRevealed.com and said he read a few of the reviews before buying any acne cream. I have been having a lot of parties this Summer. We always grill outside on our back patio. That is where most of our lawn furniture is, so it makes it so much nicer. Bathroom Renovation

In assisting my neighbor with the planning of the renovation of their bathrooms in their home, I learned so much. One thing I learned was how many different brands of products there were. It amazed both of us. We knew there were many, but not this many. The one we both agreed was the nicest in looks and quality in the way it was made, was the brand called Grohe. She ended up buying their bathroom faucets that were so unique and beautiful, for both bathrooms. She also bought different towel holders for each bathroom that were the same brand. When I remodel our home, I am going to definitely shop for Grohe brand items.

I have a cousin who weighed more than 200 pounds before he was even in middle school. He was put on a diet by different doctors, tried exercising and many other things. Nothing seemed to be working. Restoring My Old Chevy

I have been working on my 1957 Chevy to restore it back to almost it’s original condition. It’s been a struggle doing so with all the time it has taken and also the money it costs. I have everything done to the engine and interior. All I have left to put time into is the exterior. I have not decided on a color yet, but am thinking of a shade of red. There are very many different decals and designs I have been looking at as well, to put on the sides. I am going to airbrush a design, so will need to buy a new compressor. If I don’t buy an airbrush compressor, I will take it to a body shop and pay them to do it.

I Love Golf

Recently, I noticed how many charge card offers I was getting in the mail. I couldn’t believe it. There were some that were different though. They were offers that stated no balance transfer fee. I had never transferred a balance before so wasn’t sure what this was or how you actually transferred it. I decided to call one of the companies that sent one of these to me. I asked them first what it meant by them saying no balance transfer fee. They were letting you transfer your balance to their companies credit card for no charge. Usually they said they charge up to seventy five dollars. I was amazed and decided to do this. Upon discussing this with the company I was transferring from, I asked them how much they charged. It was a percentage of your balance. I even received a lower annual percentage rate with the company that a transferred to.

Many of my family members have had trouble with high blood pressure. I always get mine checked when going to the doctor. Mine was always normal until the past two years. Sprucing Up Their Garden

My parents purchased a new home last year. They used to have a very small yard and no patio. Now they have a large yard and a patio and upper deck in the back. They also have a very nice front porch. I won a digital frame at work today. We had a big raffle for 10 different prizes and I won a 10 inch digital photo frame. They retail for around $150.00 and I’ve actually wanted one for a while. You can simply put the memory card from your digital camera in it and it displays the pictures on a nice and clear LCD screen. You can set it to display the pictures in a random slide show, or you can display a single picture. It’s pretty nice. I never would have spent the money to buy it for myself, though.

His Acne Is Clearing Up Fast

I do a lot of cooking and baking in my kitchen. I finally decided to buy a plasma small ten inch screen television to watch while I am in the kitchen. I wasn’t sure where I was going to hang it or how to do it. I decided to go with a plasma mount that fits under the kitchen cabinet that drops down. It takes up very little space and is very handy. My Psoriasis Is All Gone

I was recently diagnosed with psoriasis by my doctor. While at his office he gave me samples of a medication he wanted me to try before anything else. After one week, it did not help and I was only getting worse. My doctor wanted me to come to his office to discuss a different psoriasis treatment, so I did. He wrote me a prescription for two different medications and it cleared up completely in a very short time. I’m glad I went back to see him.

For many people, their favorite way of shopping is through catalogs, or on the internet. This way they can avoid standing in lines and being in crowds in a store. I recently was shopping for some oak furniture for my dining area. I found an entire collection of the exact pieces I was wanting in a furniture catalog. I send a lot of packages throughout the entire year. All of my family lives in different areas of the United States. I have a large family, so I use a lot of different shipping supplies. The supply I buy the most of is postage tape. Since buying a huge supply at a time, I can usually get it for a reduced price. If a person compares prices on the internet and in different stores, they can get it cheaper than they think. Some stores sell postage tape, and other shipping supplies cheaper, if you buy bulk supplies at a time.

When shopping for shoes, I used to go to many different shoe stores before I found the one that fit and felt the best. Now, I usually only buy one brand and stay with it when needing new ones. The brand of shoes I usually buy are Dansko. They have a great insole and arch. My feet feel so much better since I started wearing this brand. Anyone with feet problems should try this brand. She’s Having A Baby

My sister is going to have a baby in three weeks. Nobody has given her a baby shower yet, so our mom has decided to give her one. She has been shopping for all the necessities. The one thing she hasn’t decided on is baby shower invitations. There are so many stores that she can buy them at in person, or she can buy them on line. She also looked through catalogs that had some cute ones in them. It is the last thing she has to purchase before putting everything together. She is so surprised to see how many baby shower invitations there are to pick from and hopes to be able to decide on a style soon. She thinks she is going to order them at a store in our town, so she can get them quick and fill them out. That way everything will be purchased and it won’t take long before she can actually have the baby shower.

Cat Toys And A Cat Condo

My oldest cat died a couple of weeks ago. I still have 2 other cats. It wasn’t the same, though, without the one that recently passed away. We kept all our cat toys, since the other cats still played with them. We did decide to replace a couple of our other bigger cat items. One of the products we decided to replace was the cat condo that we had the longest. I think all cats should have one. Cats can crawl, jump and play on them. You can buy them in different tiers. We had a cat condo that was 4 tiers high, 3 tunnel areas, and the cats play on them daily. It also gives them lots of exercise and enjoyment. When replacing the one that was getting worn, we went a head and bought one to replace that one and another one.

Diet Pills

I used to be very much overweight. I had only tried a couple diet pills. The first one I tried was the Alli diet pill. I was very satisfied with it. When taking it, I lost quite a few pounds, but I lost more just by watching what I eat and having will power to count my carbs, sugar, calories, etc. I lost weight just by watching my diet without even doing any exercises. The first pill I took seemed to speed up my heart rate so discontinued it. The Alli supplement seemed too costly for the few pounds it helps you lose. I have now lost a lot of weight by just watching my diet and doing a few exercises.

She Loves Her New Corset

This year, on Valentine’s Day, my girlfriend would not give me any ideas of anything she would like to have. She had gained a little weight over the past few months before. It was really bothering her. I decided to shop for some lingerie. The first thing I looked at was a corset. I figured she would look good, and also feel good wearing it. I also bought her other lingerie and presents, too. The corset was her favorite. She feels great wearing it and I also think she has more confidence on how she looks wearing it, too. Out of all the gifts I bought her, the corset was definitely her favorite.
