I’m thinking about taking a nice little vacation this summer with my girlfriend. We’ve been budgeting and planning for a nice vacation for about 2 years now and I really think it’s time we took the plunge and cashed it in. We’ve been talking about going to either Las Vegas or Florida. I really enjoy going to Las Vegas, the atmosphere and everything is just very nice. I also like being outside and around at night, so Las Vegas is the perfect city for me. On the other hand, I’ve never been to Florida and it looks like it could be fun to just hang out on the beach and sip Margaritas for a couple of weeks. We’ll see.

His Acne Is Clearing Up Fast

One of my best friends has suffered from terrible acne since we were in junior high school. He’s now in his 30’s and still has a bit of acne on his face and shoulders. He could never find an acne treatment that actually worked, until about a month ago. I came across a product called Acnexus while I was browsing through some health products online. I told him about it and he did some reading and ended up ordering it. After about a week, his acne was actually clearing up. This has to be the best natural acne treatment that I have ever seen.

Upgrading My Computer Memory

I’ve been looking around at different computer stores locally and online. I really need to upgrade my computer system memory, but I don’t want to spend a fortune. I came across several nice deals from Buy.com on computer memory. I’ll probably endup going with either 2gb or 3gb of DDR2 RAM. My computer is currently running on 512mb and it just isn’t wanting to perform and keep up with everything that I do anymore.

Plasma Mount

I do a lot of cooking and baking in my kitchen. I finally decided to buy a plasma small ten inch screen television to watch while I am in the kitchen. I wasn’t sure where I was going to hang it or how to do it. I decided to go with a plasma mount that fits under the kitchen cabinet that drops down. It takes up very little space and is very handy. I was surprised how inexpensive they are as well. I only had to pay less than one hundred dollars and it has made a real difference in the enjoyment that I have while doing different things in my kitchen.

The commercial size cleaning machines are much more expensive than household ones. When cleaning for companies, you need to buy better ones. They last longer and do much better jobs on bigger floor areas in a shorter amount of time. If you buy the cleaners by the case, you can also get them much cheaper, too.

Flying To New York

I am getting ready to take a trip to New York. I am still not sure which airline I am going to take. I will look on the internet first to see where some cheap flights are, and with what airline. I hope to find some reasonable ones, as I can’t book the flight several days in advance. Usually when you book flights in advance, you can get some better deals. Hopefully, I can find some cheap flights with an airline with only being two days away before leaving. If I can’t I may have to cancel trip completely.

My Psoriasis Is All Gone

I was recently diagnosed with psoriasis by my doctor. While at his office he gave me samples of a medication he wanted me to try before anything else. After one week, it did not help and I was only getting worse. My doctor wanted me to come to his office to discuss a different psoriasis treatment, so I did. He wrote me a prescription for two different medications and it cleared up completely in a very short time. I’m glad I went back to see him.

We recently had a new couple move into our neighborhood. Several of our families that have lived here for quite some time decided to throw them a welcoming house warming party. Since they were an elderly couple and I had been at there home to visit with them a few times, I had noticed that they always had fruit on their kitchen cabinet. She’s Having A Baby

My sister is going to have a baby in three weeks. Nobody has given her a baby shower yet, so our mom has decided to give her one. She has been shopping for all the necessities. The one thing she hasn’t decided on is baby shower invitations. There are so many stores that she can buy them at in person, or she can buy them on line. She also looked through catalogs that had some cute ones in them. It is the last thing she has to purchase before putting everything together. She is so surprised to see how many baby shower invitations there are to pick from and hopes to be able to decide on a style soon. She thinks she is going to order them at a store in our town, so she can get them quick and fill them out. That way everything will be purchased and it won’t take long before she can actually have the baby shower.

My oldest cat died a couple of weeks ago. I still have 2 other cats. It wasn’t the same, though, without the one that recently passed away. We kept all our cat toys, since the other cats still played with them. We did decide to replace a couple of our other bigger cat items. One of the products we decided to replace was the cat condo that we had the longest. I think all cats should have one. Cats can crawl, jump and play on them. You can buy them in different tiers. We had a cat condo that was 4 tiers high, 3 tunnel areas, and the cats play on them daily. It also gives them lots of exercise and enjoyment. When replacing the one that was getting worn, we went a head and bought one to replace that one and another one.

I used to be very much overweight. I had only tried a couple diet pills. The first one I tried was the Alli diet pill. I was very satisfied with it. When taking it, I lost quite a few pounds, but I lost more just by watching what I eat and having will power to count my carbs, sugar, calories, etc. I lost weight just by watching my diet without even doing any exercises. The first pill I took seemed to speed up my heart rate so discontinued it. The Alli supplement seemed too costly for the few pounds it helps you lose. I have now lost a lot of weight by just watching my diet and doing a few exercises.

Switching To A New Insurance Company

I recently had a lot of damage done to my home from a storm. I called my Insurance Adjuster to make a claim, to have my roof and other damage taken care of. After paying my high deductible, all the repairs were completed, and paid for by my insurance company. A week later, I received a letter in the mail telling me that all of my insurance was going to be canceled because of having such a high dollar claim. I had my auto and home insurance all with the same company. I had to start calling several insurance companies to start getting an Auto Insurance Quote and Home Owner’s Insurance quotes, too. It took several calls to several companies before I finally got a decent and reasonable auto insurance quote and I finally decided which company to go with. I compared all the home owner’s insurance quotes and the auto insurance quotes, and finally found one company that gave me a reasonable rate to combine both coverages, so I decided to go with them.

A Much Needed Bathroom Upgrade

Hosting Issues

I’ve been having some web hosting issues lately and it’s getting pretty annoying. Every time I turn around my hosting is either down for maintainence or its just lagging bad and very slow. I think I’m going to switch to Hostgator soon. A friend of mine has hosting through them and he never has any problems. Ten bucks a month doesnt sound too bad for the space and bandwidth that they offer. And they take Paypal which is also nice.

Fibromyalgia

My mother has been suffering from the effects of her fibromyalgia for the past few years. It’s even worse during the winter months. Fibromyalgia is a relatively new condition and doctors really have no idea what causes it or how to properly treat it. They have tried a boat load of different medications on my mother and nothing seems to do the trick. Sometimes she finds herself in so much pain that she can’t even walk or get out of bed. I really hope they find something that can properly treat fibromyalgia soon.

Plasma Television Lift

I think I’m going to buy some new exterior lighting for my house very soon. We’ve been doing various home improvement upgrades to the inside of our house but we havent really even thought about the outside. I’m going to check out some home improvement stores this weekend and see if I can find a good deal on some home lighting.

I Won A TechnoMarine Watch

My office held a little contest this week and I won a nice TechnoMarine watch. The watch that I won was actually worth over $400.00. A guy I work with wanted it so I sold it to him for $290.00. I really needed the money and he wanted the watch, so it was a win-win. I hope I can win more contests and sell the prizes.

Valentines Day is Right Around The Corner

Wow. Valentines day will be here in a month. I wasn’t even thinking about it. I need to start thinking about Valentines day gifts for my girlfriend. I really want to get her a nice heart pendant or a ring. I know all women love jewelry, so you can’t really go wrong there. I still have a month to find something. I’m glad I just noticed how close it was getting today.

I Want To Join DirectBuy!

Have you seen those commercials on television about a company called DirectBuy? I’ve always wondered if they were actually worth joining. I have been reading about them lately and it really seems like you can save quite a bit of money by joining their service. You can get huge discounts on things like home furniture, appliances, sporting goods, clothing and much more. I’m going to try and talk my girlfriend into letting me join. We’re thinking about remodeling our kitchen and I think we could save alot of money going through DirectBuy.

New Truck Rack

I’m thinking about picking up a new truck rack for my work truck. My manager offered to pay for it if I wanted to get one and I just didn’t know if I wanted one, but now I think I actually do want one. I’m always hauling things around to different job sites and I think a truck rack would make it alot more convinient to haul things like ladders without having to sacrifice the space in the bed of my truck.

I’m Buying A New Treadmill

I’ve been looking at a bunch of different treadmills lately. Everyone at work has been talking about buying one and I think I’m the only one left who doesn’t have one. I’ve wanted a nice treadmill for a while now but I never actually went out and looked at them. I’ve narrowed my choices down to about 3 different treadmills. Hopefully by next week I will have it.

Car Donations To Help Children

Today my girlfriend told me about this foundation called Car Angel (www.CarAngel.com). Apparently what they do is take car donations and donations of other items and use the money from selling the donations to produce and give away childrens videos. I had previously never heard of this until my girlfriend told me about it. We’re actually thinking about donating an old car that neither one of us drive anymore. It feels good to be able to give to charities. Especially when it’s going towards helping kids.

New Office Furniture

I’m in the middle of a few different home improvement projects, which my girlfriend just loves (can you smell the sarcasm?). Now I’m thinking about buying some new office furniture for my home office. I do alot of work in there and I’ve even had meetings with a few clients at my home. I think some new office furniture would really spruce my office up a bit.

Low Interest Credit Rates For The Holidays

I’ve seen alot of ads for low interest credit cards through the holiday season. I was going to apply for a credit card with low interest just to use for all of my Christmas shopping, then pay off the balance and close the account. I came across ASCreditOnline.com and found several great credit card deals. I’m going to talk with my girlfriend and see what she thinks. My current credit card has an interest rate of about 26%. I really don’t think I’m going to charge much using that card if I cant get a lower interest rate than that.

Miracle Burn Diet Pills

The other day a friend of mine from work was telling me about some new diet pills he started taking recently. He said it’s called Miracle Burn and it’s been working great. Online shopping Not So Convenient

I ordered a really nice futon that would really compliment my other furniture in the living room but decided to save cost by having theitem ship to the store for me to pick up rather than have it delivered. Big mistake. I hurried down to the nearest Walmart to collect my item after receiving the email that it was at the store only to find out that it was not there. They told me to return the next day to check to see if it was at their store and I can’t believe that after these people inconvenienced me in a major way and refused to have the item delivered if and when it showed up. I was so pissed off I told them where to put their futon when it arrived at the store and demanded a refund.

Drug Rehab

My girlfriend’s nephew is thinking about checking himself into drug rehab. We’ve been helping him research different drug rehabs in the area and he has narrowed his choices down to 2 different places. We’re going with him to take a little tour of the places next week. He’s been staying with us and I’ve been making sure he stays clean. He finally realized that it’s time for a change and he wants to turn his life around.

Replacing Plumbing Fixtures

I’m in the process of upgrading some of the plumbing fixtures in my home. I would like to replace a few of the sinks, including both bathrooms and the kitchen. I’m also thinking about adding some new outdoor lighting. I really enjoy being outside at night and some nice lighting makes it even more ejnoyable. We’ll see how much money I have left after replacing the faucets.

I have finally signed up for one of those free checking accounts that WaMu advertises on television. So far I am very happy with it. They offer free checks, free outgoing wire transfers, one free overdraft/non-sufficient Funds fee refund per year, free identity theft services and more. On top of everything, they only require $1.00 to open a free checking account. I really havent seen anything this good elsewhere.

Wine Coolers Arent That Bad

I was at a little get together a while back and the only alcoholic beverages they had were wine coolers. I’m not real big on wine coolers but they actually werent that bad. I might even pick a few up to keep in my fridge, I wouldn’t mind having one occasionally. I usually drink Margaritas or just some Bud Light beer.
