It’s that time of year again. Black Friday is approaching and it’s time to line up in front of stores and wait patiently to spend your money on the best deals you will see until this time next year. Lot’s of local stores have tremendous deals on just about anything you could be looking to buy this holiday season, you just have to stand in line for hours to get the real deals. Many online stores are offering huge Black Friday sales as well. I don’t mind waiting in line if I can save a few hundred dollars on a new TV, but I have never been the type to wait in line just to save 10 or 20 bucks on something small. I’ll be doing most of my Black Friday shopping online this year. I will be going to a few local stores, but there is no way I am going to be standing in line at midnight and freezing my butt off like so many others do every year.

New Door Lock

It was then I was reminded that cheap items simply do not last; I learned my lesson and went ahead and got a Kwikset lock. I am no repairman but it was so easy to attach to my door.

Buying Insurance Online

Many people aren’t aware of the many tasks a person can do online. Anytime I look for a specific item, I usually look online for prices and availability before driving from store to store to find and price it first. My latest search was to buy new home owners and car insurance online. Sometimes, people can get much discounted rates if purchase insurance online. I never thought there would be much savings in doing so, but thought it doesn’t cost anything to go online to price different coverages, so I did. I have had my insurance with the same insurance company for many years and decided to see if I could get a lower rate by switching to a different company. I wanted to keep the same coverage I currently had. It was true what people had told me. When purchasing my insurance online, I am actually saving a great amount of money, and also the company I bought my policy from has a local office where I can go in person to take care of my business, if needed. After telling other people I know about my experience of buying my insurance online, there are several other people now doing the same thing I did, in hopes of saving them money, too.

Buying A New RV

In the small town we live in, there is a company that sells many RVs, which include fifth wheels, campers, motor homes, and many more. I had always dreamed of owning a motor home, or other RV to use for traveling after I retire, which was only a few years away. I wasn’t sure if I could afford the payment and also the insurance it would cost me. I wanted to have it paid for before I retired, in order to be able to afford to buy one. I decided to stop in and check them all out one day. I was amazed how many different brands, styles, sizes and features a person had to pick from. My main concern was the monthly payment, so I spoke to the owner of the company to see if they offered financing. He said they did. He gave me several options of RV financing through his company, but also told me other resources to price that also offered RV financing. I always thought the monthly payments would be very high. After speaking to different companies, there were so many that offered it. In getting quotes during my search in RV financing, I decided to do my RV financing through the company that was selling them, where I had first gone to in our town. He offered me a real good deal and a reduced rate for mobile home if I financed it through his company. I am now a proud owner of a brand new mobile home and it will be paid for completely before I retire, since I used the RV financing they offered me which I took advantage of. Now, I’m looking even more forward to retiring, and being able to travel to as many places as I possibly can.

Nintendo Wii

Every year at Christmas time, there is usually a high demand for a specific game, toy, or other item that children and teenagers want for Christmas. Two years ago, there was a huge demand for a game system made by Nintendo called the Wii. It is lots of fun and also always the people playing to get more exercise while playing. Every store I would go to, I would hear so many people asking if that store had any in stock. Most of them were sold out, but would be receiving more soon. They would also say that the Wii seems to sell out fast, during the holidays, during the high demand for them. I started thinking how my younger grand children would benefit from this game system, so I decided to try to find one to have at my home to have for them to play during their visits with me. The Wii was amazing. I was not able to buy one for Christmas during the high demand and all the stores would sell out of them very fast. Two months after Christmas, many stores restocked their shelves with different items that they had problems keeping in stock during the holidays, which included the Wii. I was amazed how much difference it made when watching my grand children playing it. They loved it and also was not just sitting there playing video games, like they would with other game systems. Since buying the Wii that came with a few games included, I have not purchase a few other games and it is so nice seeing all the kids and their friends actually up moving around while playing instead of always just sitting there without getting any exercise at all. Now, I understand why there was such a high demand in the Wii. For the amount I paid for the Wii, I feel I have already got my money’s worth and am also playing it myself, too.

Jobs In Philly

My wife has a very important job and she has worked there for almost thirty years. Her boss recently came to her and explained, due to job cuts, that if she would like to continue working for his company, she would have to relocate to Philly, which was a huge decision to her and our family. We have two children still in school so that was a huge factor too, in deciding what to do. We did research the schools there and also made a trip there to see different homes available, and their surroundings. There were also many jobs philly had to offer. I would have to take a cut in pay, but not nearly as much as my wife would. She has built up many years of seniority, retirement plan and also other savings programs she has money invested in. In weighing out the pros and cons, we agreed together that it was in the best interest to all of us in our family to relocate. Jobs philly has to offer were plentiful for myself as well. I have already began my job search and have submitted resumes to many online. The company she is working for will also pay a small percentage of our housing expenses for the first three months, but won’t pay a lot because she will continue getting paid and within one week after moving, she will walk into her new office and it will be ready for her to begin working in her new location. The week she will be off will be paid time off. Her employer will pay for all moving expenses incurred, which will save us so much money. After making three trips there, with two of them being with our children, we are all excited for the huge change and looking forward to it. I have already had many companies contact me about jobs, too. The only problem we haven’t solved yet is selling our home. We hired a real estate company to assist us in selling it, so we won’t have to keep coming back every time someone wants to see it. We also hired other people to mow our lawn, water our grass and plants and be sure everything is okay inside and out.

For those graduates who do not have this offered to them, need to do their own nurses job searches. There seems to be many listings in the newspapers and also at different internet sites on the internet that advertise different positions for nurses available. Most graduates are very successful, in a short amount of time, in finding a job for their nursing career and enjoys helping people and working in the medical field.

I would never try to move a long way away such as to another state, without hiring a long distance moving company. I would never hesitate on hiring a long distance moving company if I would move to another state or anywhere more than a few miles. I’ve had friends that have used a long distance moving company and once getting everything ready to move, the rest is done by the moving company. I would never attempt moving my family to another state. If the situation ever rises, I would definitely hire a long distance moving company. Between packing and unpacking all the boxes packed, that can be a lot of hard work in itself. There is no loading or unloading of anything when you hire a long distance moving company, which gives you a break and could also save you lots of time and the chance of hurting yourself. A long distance moving company also sends a crew of several people to move your items. It’s usually never just a couple of people. Therefore, that also saves times and the job gets done faster.

Scalp Pimples

My niece recently noticed that she had scalp pimples. This frustrated her and made her feel ugly and didn’t want anyone to know. She began to wonder if anyone could see them, which I really doubt that. She was a teenager in high school so that really made her feel that she needed to do something to keep up her wonderful reputation and others wouldn’t look down on her for having scalp pimples. Nobody could actually see them, but she felt that they could. She purchased a highly recommended shampoo that treated scalp pimples that actually started making them clear up. Someone told her that there was a specific type of massage that also helped clear them up. She was too embarrassed to ask anyone to massage her head for fear they would notice the scalp pimples and think less of her or spread the word to others. After using the shampoo for a while, they did begin to clear up and she didn’t have to continue fighting the scalp pimples any longer and felt much better about herself.

My daughter is a sixth grade student at her school. Her class was going on a field trip and they asked for any parents that would be interested in attending to assist the teachers. I agreed to attend and help in any way possible. When arriving at the school, I was helping all the students get organized and put all their books, etc… in their lockers and meet in a room where all the students were directed to meet at. I walked upon a couple of girls standing and talking at their lockers. We only had a short amount of time to get to the room we were supposed to be at, on time. I noticed they were exchanging money and pills. I inquired what the pills were for. They explained that they were just diet pills. I asked to see the bottle they were in. They were in a prescription bottle with a completely different name of person and drug. I questioned them and asked them to give me the diet pills, which they got angry and refused. I had no choice except to report this to the teacher and office, which I did. After the principal had the diet pills, he had them examined and that is what they were. Diet pills can be used and people can be successful in their dieting, while taking them, if taken correctly. In this case, they were not being taken correctly. The diet pills were affecting the girl’s heart rate. She was told how some diet pills can cause heart problems if not taken as directed by a doctor. No charges were pressed, as it turned out to be an over the counter product. A short time after wards, the school held an assembly explaining the harm diet pills could do and also how they can help if they are taken as prescribed or directed by a doctor. I was very happy I happened to be there that day and possibly saved that girl’s life.

Quickly Build Muscle

While I was working out at the gym the other day, I ran across a friend of mine that was working out, too. He said that he had been coming to the gym and had an instructor that was helping him. Vacation to Disney World

Every year my brother in-law takes my oldest sister and their two kids on a vacation to Disney World. This has been a tradition for the past 3 years and they all really seem to enjoy it. My brother in-law and sister weren’t really sure what to expect the first time they went, but after they got their, they both said that as soon as you walk in, you feel like a kid again. My Sister is Pregnant

My sister found out that she was pregnant last Thursday. She went to the doctor for a routine “female exam” and her doctor informed her that she was pregnant. She had no idea. She was very excited and also very scared at the same time. I’d have to say that acne on the neck is one of the most humiliating things that could ever happen to me. I took a girl to the movies recently and was appalled when I heard two people sitting in the back of me talking about my neck acne. I was embarrassed beyond belief and to make matters worst the acne was so painful I wish I had stayed at home. I’m grateful that even though they irritate me my acne isn’t as bad as some of the buddies that I know. I just use an AVON product which contains alpha hydroxy and the acne eventually went away.

I got pissed off last week after I received a letter in my inbox confirming my order for some teeth whitener. Thing is I never ordered teeth whitener and although my name and address is on it the credit card number does not match up to any of the cards that I owe. I had to call creditors about it and set up identity theft protection with my bank for my credit cards. Since I’ve been using the service the activity on my credit report has been stable and unchanged for the last two months which is really good. And I only pay five dollars for the protection. Finding The Right Diet Supplements

New Workout Room

New Exit Signs

My wife works at a daycare center and they were recently ordered to replace all of their exit signs by the city inspector. They just ordered and received 8 new ESW-SL Tritium self luminous exit signs with green face and black housing. They paid about $130 each for the signs, but they really do look great. They are nice and bright. You can’t miss them.

Trying A Different Fat Burner

Losing Weight For The New Year

One of my New Years resolutions is to lose about 25 pounds. I’ve been reading about a bunch of different weight loss supplements, appetite suppressants and fat burner products. Kitchen Remodeling and Home Improvement

About this time last year I decided to remodel my kitchen. I did all of it in 5 days while my wife was out of town at a conference with some of her co-workers. She came home and was completely surprised and shocked that I went through all of the trouble just to make her happy. I ordered some gorgeous floor tiles, new cabinets, new kitchen appliances, I put in a nice island in the middle of the kitchen with a cutting board surface on it for preparing meals and I ordered 3 new sets of pots and pans, brand new silverware, new lighting, just about anything you can think of. I really enjoy home improvement projects and wouldn’t mind taking on some home improvement jobs on the side.

Shopping Online For Christmas Gifts

Ive been doing most of my Christmas shopping online and I’ve placed 5 or 6 different Amazon books orders. Most of the items I’ve purchased online have came from Buy.com, eBay, Amazon and DeepDiscount. I’ve spent about half as much as my friends have spent, only because a lot of them refuse to order anything online using their credit cards, because they think it’s “unsafe” to order anything online and use your credit card. I’ve been ordering items online once or twice a week for the last 6 years and haven’t really ever had a bad experience.

Plasma TV Mount

Now that I finally invested in one of the Plasma mounts I found on sale, I’m staying home and watching a lot more TV. Just last month I paid close to two hundred dollars for a nice plasma wall mount that was very sturdy and I thought it was cool that it swiveled, tilted and even pan. Clark’s are classic shoes; I remember my dad wearing them to work and taking good care of them too. I always tell people that Clark’s are for the man of distinction. My cousin recently applied for a job as a delivery driver. He was amazed to find what he was going to be delivering if he got the job. It was with a company that delivers surplus inventory to and from different warehouses where different stores store their inventory until they have room in their stores. When a store discontinues items, has overstock of products or has not sold items, they sell to distributors that buys these items, which they consider surplus inventory. Many stores stock up on these particular items then sell them at a reduced cost in their stores. When buying surplus inventory, it is usually bought in bulk. My cousin did get the job and said there was so much stuff that he delivered that he could not believe all the stores that bought that much of it. Sometimes people can purchase surplus inventory and save a lot of money and there is nothing defective with the products at all. It not only saves the seller, but also the buyer.

After cooking a strong scented food for dinner, where the scent often lingers afterward, I usually burn a candle in the kitchen. That usually eliminates the odor afterward if it is a strong one such as cooked cabbage, liver or other sometimes unpleasant one. The candle only burns for a short period of time before the smell is gone. I also keep a candle burning, even if I haven’t cooked, just for the delightful scents you can buy them in. It is very soothing sometimes, depending on the scent of the candle that you burn.

There are so many people that have very serious health problems, and do not know where to turn for help since they have problems getting, keeping, or working enough hours at a job to make enough money to pay their bills. Some of them are too proud and won’t apply for social security disability, even after their doctors tell them that they should. Many people that apply often end up waiting three years and longer before they are finally approved for social security disability. In the meantime, during the appeal times, people have a hard time paying their bills, buying food and often lose their homes, because of not being able to work. After they are approved, they are happy because they can finally catch up, or start over and can often get more assistance on medical bills and help from the state, if they do not make over a certain amount of money each month. I have been having trouble sleeping for quite some time now. I was shopping the other day and noticed the store I was in was having a big sale on beds. I decided to check their beds out and see if I could find a new one that was much more comfortable than mine. I found one that seemed like a really good price, so I bought it. It is a sleep number bed. You can change the comfort levels with just a switch of a button on a remote control device. They delivered it the next day. New Wireless Security System

I recently purchased a new ranch style home. I have two children that spend each weekend with me, so I was trying to get moved and everything set up before the following weekend came, after I closed on the home. It was all new to me, and the children so I had already decided to buy a wireless security system, but had to check them out first to find out how they were installed and how they worked. I was not sure if they would function as well as the wired ones. I researched and read about many of them on the internet, then went to stores that specialized in them. I was shocked how well hidden they could be inside, and outside, our home. You can even have it hooked up to your computer to observe everything on it, at all times. It is very interesting how they work and makes us all feel very safe. A wireless security system is one of the best purchases I have ever made for any home I’ve lived in.

Computer Memory Is An Easy Upgrade

It seems like we’re always ordering new computer memory for the computers in my office. I told them that they should order some memory in bulk to get a better price and we could just upgrade all of the computers at the same time, but the other office managers insist on doing it the hard way. Memory takes all of 2 seconds to install and I could upgrade all of the computers myself within half an hour’s time. They actually pay a computer tech to come in and install the memory in each computer. I think they pay him something like fifty bucks each. What a waste of money.

New Exit Signs

The other day I had to order a few new exit signs for one of our local offices. The exit sign near the main exit was about 15 years old and the letter X didn’t even light up anymore. I’m surprised that we didn’t get warned for the faulty sign by the Fire Marshal when he does his inspection. We decided to order all new signs so they would all match. I picked out the new exit signs and everyone seemed to be pleased with them. They are clear edge lit exit signs that illuminate the EXIT letters in red and have a battery backup. They really look great.

Over the years I have stayed at half of the hotel Las Vegas has to offer. I try and make it out to Las Vegas at least once a year if possible. It’s my favorite vacation destination of all time. Even if I don’t gamble and blow tons of money while im there, it’s just a great town. You can walk around all night outside and meet such a variety of fun and interesting people and there is so much more to do than just go to casinos and gamble. My New Kitchen Faucet Looks Great

Last month I replaced our kitchen faucet after I found a good deal on home remodeling supplies at a local do-it-yourself home improvement store. I really enjoy getting my hands dirty and starting new projects. I ended up using a very nice Moen Monticello single handle kitchen faucet that comes out a little farther than standard faucets. It really makes it handy to wash bigger things like pots and pans and it dresses up the kitchen sink quite a bit. I’m happy with the results and love how the faucet looks.

In assisting my neighbor with the planning of the renovation of their bathrooms in their home, I learned so much. One thing I learned was how many different brands of products there were. It amazed both of us. We knew there were many, but not this many. The one we both agreed was the nicest in looks and quality in the way it was made, was the brand called Grohe. She ended up buying their bathroom faucets that were so unique and beautiful, for both bathrooms. She also bought different towel holders for each bathroom that were the same brand. Getting Control Of Your Weight

I have a cousin who weighed more than 200 pounds before he was even in middle school. He was put on a diet by different doctors, tried exercising and many other things. Nothing seemed to be working. Restoring My Old Chevy

I have been working on my 1957 Chevy to restore it back to almost it’s original condition. It’s been a struggle doing so with all the time it has taken and also the money it costs. I have everything done to the engine and interior. All I have left to put time into is the exterior. I have not decided on a color yet, but am thinking of a shade of red. There are very many different decals and designs I have been looking at as well, to put on the sides. I am going to airbrush a design, so will need to buy a new compressor. If I don’t buy an airbrush compressor, I will take it to a body shop and pay them to do it.

One of my favorite sports has always been golf. Many of my friends have began joining me and taking lessons, too. As a person gets older, they get more wrinkles and spots on their body. My grandmother has many spots and wrinkles on her face. She uses a wrinkle cream. It really seems to help her complexion. I have noticed others that are of her age and how many more they have than my grandmother. She uses it every night before she goes to bed and leaves it on. When she gets up in the morning, she washes her face with a special soap, too. She started using special creams many years ago and still does. Transfering Credit Card Balance

Recently, I noticed how many charge card offers I was getting in the mail. I couldn’t believe it. There were some that were different though. They were offers that stated no balance transfer fee. I had never transferred a balance before so wasn’t sure what this was or how you actually transferred it. I decided to call one of the companies that sent one of these to me. I asked them first what it meant by them saying no balance transfer fee. They were letting you transfer your balance to their companies credit card for no charge. Usually they said they charge up to seventy five dollars. I was amazed and decided to do this. Upon discussing this with the company I was transferring from, I asked them how much they charged. It was a percentage of your balance. I even received a lower annual percentage rate with the company that a transferred to.

Portable Home Blood Pressure Monitor

Many of my family members have had trouble with high blood pressure. I always get mine checked when going to the doctor. Mine was always normal until the past two years. There are many things that can cause a person’s blood pressure to be high. I began taking medication for mine. I only had to take it for a few months and it became normal again. Neither I, or the doctor, ever knew what exactly caused it to be high. During the time I was experiencing high blood pressure, I purchased a portable blood pressure monitor to use at home. Now, I check it usually once, or more, per week. Owning my own monitor is much cheaper than going to the doctor to have it checked or worrying about it. I always thought they were very costly, but actually the one I purchased was very reasonable in cost and has eased my mind in knowing it is normal. I’m so glad I bought one.

Sprucing Up Their Garden

My parents purchased a new home last year. They used to have a very small yard and no patio. Now they have a large yard and a patio and upper deck in the back. They also have a very nice front porch. This is the first time, for years, that they are able to have a nice flower garden. When purchasing their new home, I held a house warming party for them. Since they are older and have so much already, nobody knew what to buy them. I suggested some nice garden decor since they were so excited to be able to have a garden now. It was unbelievable how many different garden decorations and supplies that they received. They now have a beautiful garden in their front, side and back yard.

I Need A New Digital Camera

I Won A Nice Digital Frame

I won a digital frame at work today. We had a big raffle for 10 different prizes and I won a 10 inch digital photo frame. They retail for around $150.00 and I’ve actually wanted one for a while. You can simply put the memory card from your digital camera in it and it displays the pictures on a nice and clear LCD screen. You can set it to display the pictures in a random slide show, or you can display a single picture. It’s pretty nice. I never would have spent the money to buy it for myself, though.

A Disney Cruise

Upgrading My Computer Memory Again

I’ve decided to upgrade my computer memory yet again. The last time upgraded it, I could see a very dramatic increase in my computer’s performance, and that’s made me want to add even more RAM memory yet again. I can’t believe how much faster programs and everything loads with a little extra memory. It really makes a huge difference if you have more than one or two programs open at the same time. My computer doesn’t take ten minutes to open Adobe Photoshop anymore. It’s wonderful.

I’m thinking about taking a nice little vacation this summer with my girlfriend. We’ve been budgeting and planning for a nice vacation for about 2 years now and I really think it’s time we took the plunge and cashed it in. We’ve been talking about going to either Las Vegas or Florida. I really enjoy going to Las Vegas, the atmosphere and everything is just very nice. I also like being outside and around at night, so Las Vegas is the perfect city for me. On the other hand, I’ve never been to Florida and it looks like it could be fun to just hang out on the beach and sip Margaritas for a couple of weeks. We’ll see.

His Acne Is Clearing Up Fast

One of my best friends has suffered from terrible acne since we were in junior high school. He’s now in his 30’s and still has a bit of acne on his face and shoulders. He could never find an acne treatment that actually worked, until about a month ago. I came across a product called Acnexus while I was browsing through some health products online.
