I got pissed off last week after I received a letter in my inbox confirming my order for some teeth whitener. Thing is I never ordered teeth whitener and although my name and address is on it the credit card number does not match up to any of the cards that I owe. I had to call creditors about it and set up identity theft protection with my bank for my credit cards. Since I’ve been using the service the activity on my credit report has been stable and unchanged for the last two months which is really good. And I only pay five dollars for the protection. Not bad at all.

My best friend is finally taking the plunge and proposing to his girlfriend. He asked me to come with him the other day to look at engagement rings for her. He ended up buying a very nice Laureato Regal diamond solitaire ring. he hasen’t proposed yet, but I think she’s going to love it. Hopefully she says yes (ha-ha, I know you’re reading this David). I find it amazing that I am about the only one out of the group of friends from my childhood days that hasent ever had to check into a drug treatment program. Almost every one of the kids I grew up with have been to jail or prison more than once and nearly all of them have been addicted to drugs and alcohol. I guess I’m the lucky one.

It’s hard when you are trying to get important information from a lawyer and he is obviously drunk. It was tough for me trying to talk to a local lawyer recently; he was so much all over the place that it bordering on annoying. He asked me my name five times and called me by a different name every time. I was just calling for a free consultation, can you imagine if I left my legal matters in this dude’s hands. That would be a big joke!

My two year anniversary is coming up and I’m not sure what I want to get for my girlfriend. I’ve been looking at all sorts of jewelry and I still can’t decide. I’ve looked at quite a few necklaces, a few bracelets and tons of diamond rings. I’ll probably endup going with a nice diamond ring, but not too nice, I don’t want her to think im proposing.

A friend of mine recently got out of a drug rehabilitation center. He got real heavy into cocaine while he was with his ex-girlfriend and couldn’t shake the drug when they seperated. My heart goes out to women who have no choice but to reside in a shelter. Really, it is the closest thing to living on the streets. I have had first hand knowledge of this but luckily for me I did not remain there for any long period of time. Those who did remain had to ensure moldy bread and bland tasting food had to do chores and they ran the risk of others stealing their food items and personal items. That’s pathetic to say the least. I remember walking away from the shelter with the assurance that I had a real home waiting for me, with fresh food and clean bed sheets and it hurt that I had to leave those who had no choice behind like that. Pity.
