I’ve read about and tried several different weight loss programs and have never really found anything that works as advertised. A friend of mine recently started using this weight loss system by Herbalife. He actually lost over 30 pounds in a month and he has continued to lose weight even after getting off of Herbalife. I can’t believe how much different he looks after losing that much weight. It’s pretty incredible. I think I’m going to try it soon.

The other day a friend of mine from work was telling me about some new diet pills he started taking recently. He said it’s called Miracle Burn and it’s been working great. He says he hardly feels hungry at all and he’s been extra motivated to work out and exercise. I’m thinking about trying it. I have an old treadmill sitting in my basement that I’ve used about 3 times since getting it.

A friend of mine recently started taking a new diet pill called Hydroxycut. So far he says it’s working great. He’s losing weight at a steady pace. He’s not losing 20 pounds a day or anything that absurd, but the weight is actually coming off. He has tried a huge variety of different diet pills, diet programs and fitness programs over the years and nothing has worked up until now. I wish him all of the luck.

You know that TV commercial where the woman says that the cereal Honey Bunches of Oats is like a mouthful of joy. Well that is no idle boast. In fact I think it is one of the best cereals around, and I’ve tried a lot of cereals in my day. Even my kid loves it, she asks for more the minute she’s done having a bowl of it. I don’t know if it’s the honey or the oat clusters in it but the combination is nothing short of satisfying. It’s all that I buy now to feel filled up each morning.

A lot of my friends are very dependent on sleeping pills. It’s strange for me since I don’t have problems sleeping and they have to depend on a drug to help them to sleep. Unfortunately with these pills, although they may put people to bed for a good night’s sleep, there are also some serious side effects. Depression is one of them and right now I have a friend who is going through it all because she wants to ensure that she sleeps well. If I were an insomniac, products like Lunesta and Ambien CR would not get my money. I’ll prefer to invest in Tylenol PM and not only be able to sleep, but minus the side effects.

Convenience is a hell of a thing, isn’t it? Luckily for me I live within mere walking distance of Pizza Hut/Taco Bell and Domino’s Pizza. Domino’s Pizza is the closer of the two and I just love going there to get my grub on, especially on days that I don’t feel like cooking. My latest crave on the menu is the chessy bread which is a blend of cheddar and mozzarella cheese served with marinara sauce. I usually order up extra cheese with this and I must say that it is truly delicious. The bread melts in your mouth, no hard crust here, and the sauce further enhances it. The cheesy bread costs $4.00 and it keeps you all filled up and satisfied for a few hours after eating.

Because I wanted a telephone that had caller ID on it, I opt to take the one that was offered by ATT since it allowed me to pay over a three-month time frame. I liked it a lot when I first got it, its sleek, black and gives off a neon blue glow at night, you may think its a cell phone. But lately the phone has been doing its own thing to the point where I want to go into the ATT office and leave it with them. Now whenever I dial a number the phone dial its own digits and not the ones I key in. So if I wanted 555, it would give me 544. At first I thought it was my own error in dialing, but then I realized that it wasn’t. Then as if that was not enough, the phone has a locked keypad feature which is all good. But wait until you start talking to someone on the phone and want to hang up. You can’t do it, no matter how many times you press in exit key. The only way it would hang up is if you remove the batteries. This is what I’ve paid 40 something dollars for.

I absolutely love the new Glade Carpet and Room Deodorizer in the Rainshower scent. It only costs around $2.50 but the scent lasts for hours. All you have to do is sprinkle a little on the carpet a few minutes before you vacuum and wait for the lingering effect after the job is done. I know that they have manufactured two other scents but I’m hooked on the rainshower fragrance.

I’ve been hearing a lot about mineral makeup lately. People are saying that it is better to use than liquid foundation as it results in your face looking flawless without leaving clogged pores. This seemed right up my alley so I tried a sample before purchasing the full size and wasting money. As an African-American, the counter clerk recommended that I get the cocoa, their darkest shade. Got home and wasted no time in putting it on and then I stood back from the mirror waiting for the magic. There was none. I looked a hot mess like a corpse in the sun and my face was white as if I had seen a ghost. Don’t they make this type of make-up for African-American women too? If they do, what shade should I use? Well I returned to the store and asked the question and the clerk said I needed to take two of their darkest foundations and blend them to get my color. Well that was the most stupid thing I’ve ever heard. I’ll stick with my cocoa press-powder thank you very much!
