Everyone keeps asking my niece what she wants for her birthday. She is very hard to buy for and please, being at the age of 17. She keeps telling everyone that she would love to have gift cards to some of her favorite stores. That way she can pick out whatever she sees in the store that she likes, or wants, and purchase it with the gift cards. Everyone that we’ve talked to in our family has decided to give her gift cards and we will do the same. That way whatever she gets will be something she really wants and it’s the easiest gift to purchase, too.

I went to several different places for Black Friday sales this year. I ended up buying a new Wheatley Hill TV stand for our room, a bunch of DVDs, a few video games and some other stuff. This was the first year that I actually got out at 4:00 in the morning to hit the Black Friday sales. I’m very happy that I did, though. I saved about $1,500 total and it was for stuff that I’ve had my eye on for a while but didn’t want to spend the money on at regular price.

This year, on Valentine’s Day, my girlfriend would not give me any ideas of anything she would like to have. She had gained a little weight over the past few months before. It was really bothering her. I decided to shop for some lingerie. The first thing I looked at was a corset. I figured she would look good, and also feel good wearing it. I also bought her other lingerie and presents, too. The corset was her favorite. She feels great wearing it and I also think she has more confidence on how she looks wearing it, too. Out of all the gifts I bought her, the corset was definitely her favorite.

Wow. Valentines day will be here in a month. I wasn’t even thinking about it. I need to start thinking about Valentines day gifts for my girlfriend. I really want to get her a nice heart pendant or a ring. I know all women love jewelry, so you can’t really go wrong there. I still have a month to find something. I’m glad I just noticed how close it was getting today.

After I was properly talked about by my neighbors for having what they call a “Charlie Brown” Christmas tree, I’ve taken a sabbatical and decided to put the tree away this year. I sure saved a lot of space in my living room by doing so. But don’t worry, my home was not void of the Christmas spirit. I wrapped the lights around my holiday wreath and I got to say it made the apartment look really nice and cozy. All of a sudden my neighbor is talking about either selling or putting her Christmas tree in storage and trying the decorated wreath. Copycat!
