My girlfriend gets pretty nervous driving long distances by herself and going out at night with her girlfriends. I’ve been trying to get her to get a CCW permit to carry a handgun, but she doesn’t really feel comfortable around guns and she doesn’t think she would be able to use it if the time came. I’ve been showing her several different self defense products and she has been interested in a few of them. I think she’ll end up carrying a nice taser and some sort of mace-like spray.

My girlfriend has been trying to get me to put up some new lighting in our dining room over the table where we eat most of the time. I went out today and looked at some nice chandeliers and I think I’ve found a couple that she would absolutely love. I don’t want to just take it upon myself to pick the chandelier out without getting her opinion, though. Hopefully she will like the ones I show her.

A local car accessories store just closed down and they had a huge going out of business sale. I picked up a few car covers and a big bag full of hand buffers, car wax, tire shine, armorall and various other accessories. They didn’t even advertise the sale as far as I know. I just went in to pick up some tire shine and saw everything was $50 to 80% off and went crazy with the credit card.

I have been having a lot of parties this Summer. We always grill outside on our back patio. That is where most of our lawn furniture is, so it makes it so much nicer. I usually take my cushions inside in the Winter. Unfortunately, I left them in last Winter. I can really tell a big difference this Summer in the shape of them and wear. I should always use patio furniture covers on them whenever I don’t bring them inside. I sure wished I would’ve used them last Winter.

One of my favorite sports has always been golf. Many of my friends have began joining me and taking lessons, too. One of them could not afford to buy the golf clubs, and other accessories needed, so I helped him as much as possible. We went to sporting goods stores and found sales and also some of them sold used equipment. During my time helping him, I also decided to trade in my old golf clubs for some new ones. It sure feels great using new ones, instead of the ones that I’ve had for several years.

As a person gets older, they get more wrinkles and spots on their body. My grandmother has many spots and wrinkles on her face. She uses a wrinkle cream. It really seems to help her complexion. I have noticed others that are of her age and how many more they have than my grandmother. She uses it every night before she goes to bed and leaves it on. When she gets up in the morning, she washes her face with a special soap, too. She started using special creams many years ago and still does. I can see a big difference in her face compared to many others. I have been shopping around to buy some for myself. There are many different wrinkle creams to choose from. It’s been hard to decide on which one would be best for me. I’m still shopping for some and will definitely start using some, after seeing the noticeable difference in my grandmother’s face.

Many people with Diabetes, Heart Disease, and other health problems should wear a medical IS. They come in many varieties. You can get them to wear around your wrist, neck and more. If you were unable to talk in an emergency situation, this lets others that are treating you see what is important to do, or not to do. A medical ID can save someone’s life. Sometimes it can alert others of a medication that you are allergic to, which is very important. If I had a serious medical condition, I would definitely wear one of these.

After winning the digital photo frame at work, I thought that it might be kind of nice to have a decent digital camera. Mine current camera is an older model and its only 2 mega pixels. The pictures look clear enough, but they arent anywhere near as clear as the Canon camera they raffled off at work. I’ve been shopping around and I think I’m ready to buy one.

I won a digital frame at work today. We had a big raffle for 10 different prizes and I won a 10 inch digital photo frame. They retail for around $150.00 and I’ve actually wanted one for a while. You can simply put the memory card from your digital camera in it and it displays the pictures on a nice and clear LCD screen. You can set it to display the pictures in a random slide show, or you can display a single picture. It’s pretty nice. I never would have spent the money to buy it for myself, though.

I’ve decided to upgrade my computer memory yet again. The last time upgraded it, I could see a very dramatic increase in my computer’s performance, and that’s made me want to add even more RAM memory yet again. I can’t believe how much faster programs and everything loads with a little extra memory. It really makes a huge difference if you have more than one or two programs open at the same time. My computer doesn’t take ten minutes to open Adobe Photoshop anymore. It’s wonderful.
