A friend of mine has very bad credit. He has applied for numerous loans and credit cards but continues to be denied based on his bad credit history. A while back he started searching online and reading about credit cards for bad credit. He was approved for the first one that he applied for. Considering how bad his credit history is, he actually received a pretty reasonable interest rate and credit line.

Life insurance is something that a lot of people don’t like to think about or deal with. But, the truth is, everyone should have at least enough life insurance to cover their own funeral. I would never want to leave my family stuck paying that kind of bill because I didn’t think ahead while I had a chance. My mother always carried $15,000 worth of life insurance on me when I was a child, and now I have my own life insurance policy with $50,000 coverage. My family won’t have to worry about paying the cost of my funeral or paying household bills for a while if something would happen to me. That actually makes me feel really good, knowing that they would be covered and not have to worry for a while.

I got pissed off last week after I received a letter in my inbox confirming my order for some teeth whitener. Thing is I never ordered teeth whitener and although my name and address is on it the credit card number does not match up to any of the cards that I owe. I had to call creditors about it and set up identity theft protection with my bank for my credit cards. Since I’ve been using the service the activity on my credit report has been stable and unchanged for the last two months which is really good. And I only pay five dollars for the protection. Not bad at all.

Life insurance rates are quite reasonable but you really have to know where to shop around for the cheapest offer. I work part-time and there isn’t much money coming in with my job but I really do want to put away some of my earnings so that my family can benefit from it. There is an easy online calculator that would ask you specific questions which would determine how much your rates are.

My mother and father recently decided to compare their life insurance rates and coverage with other couples their age. They currently have an average amount of coverage for a reasonable price. When others they were discussing it with compared theirs to my parents, they were shocked to see the difference in cost that they were paying. They are now doing some life insurance comparison with other companies to see if they can get a better deal on theirs. Sometimes it is a good idea to do life insurance comparison before purchasing a policy to begin with.

I went to several different places for Black Friday sales this year. I ended up buying a new Wheatley Hill TV stand for our room, a bunch of DVDs, a few video games and some other stuff. This was the first year that I actually got out at 4:00 in the morning to hit the Black Friday sales. I’m very happy that I did, though. I saved about $1,500 total and it was for stuff that I’ve had my eye on for a while but didn’t want to spend the money on at regular price.

Prices have been rising on many things the past couple of years. One of the main rises that have caused other rises is the price of gas. I have been helping some friends plan their vacation. During pricing different packages and the cost of driving to places, we found that Brazil vacation packages were very unique and there were many packages to choose from. The vacation is now planned and they will learn so much and enjoy this vacation. I can’t wait to see all the pictures when they return.

Recently, I noticed how many charge card offers I was getting in the mail. I couldn’t believe it. There were some that were different though. They were offers that stated no balance transfer fee. I had never transferred a balance before so wasn’t sure what this was or how you actually transferred it. I decided to call one of the companies that sent one of these to me. I asked them first what it meant by them saying no balance transfer fee. They were letting you transfer your balance to their companies credit card for no charge. Usually they said they charge up to seventy five dollars. I was amazed and decided to do this. Upon discussing this with the company I was transferring from, I asked them how much they charged. It was a percentage of your balance. I even received a lower annual percentage rate with the company that a transferred to.

I recently bought a new car. I had never bought a brand new car before. I always purchased used ones. This one is a much sportier one than I’ve ever had. I had to contact my insurance agent about my auto insurance. I was a little bit nervous about what the cost would be for this new of a vehicle. I got a quote from my agent and also called other companies to compare prices. I was shocked to find out that my auto insurance wasn’t going to cost me as much as I thought it would. Since I had never had any accidents or tickets, I got discounts for that. I also got discounts for having more than one vehicle on my policy. It really pays to be a safe driver and shop around when purchasing car insurance.
