Social Security Disability Can Be A Struggle

There are so many people that have very serious health problems, and do not know where to turn for help since they have problems getting, keeping, or working enough hours at a job to make enough money to pay their bills. Some of them are too proud and won’t apply for social security disability, even after their doctors tell them that they should. Many people that apply often end up waiting three years and longer before they are finally approved for social security disability. In the meantime, during the appeal times, people have a hard time paying their bills, buying food and often lose their homes, because of not being able to work. After they are approved, they are happy because they can finally catch up, or start over and can often get more assistance on medical bills and help from the state, if they do not make over a certain amount of money each month. Many of them also have to have someone come to their house to help them with housework, paperwork, bathing them, grocery shopping and other errands. A while back my neighbor was telling me about a company called Allsup. He was telling me that they provide various services for people with disabilities, including helping people to receive the money and benefits that they’re entitled to.
