One of the most common exercises for the heart is the use of treadmills. Many Cardiologists suggest starting out by walking for slow distances and times, at a slow pace. The most important exercise is to run at a pace to get your heart rate up to a certain amount, for a certain amount of time. Most people who have had a heart attack are told to use treadmills after the healing process of surgery. To correctly diagnose heart disease, many tests are run on a person using treadmills.
