Switching To A New Insurance Company

I recently had a lot of damage done to my home from a storm. I called my Insurance Adjuster to make a claim, to have my roof and other damage taken care of.  After paying my high deductible, all the repairs were completed, and paid for by my insurance company. A week later, I received a letter in the mail telling me that all of my insurance was going to be canceled because of having such a high dollar claim. I had my auto and home insurance all with the same company. I had to start calling several insurance companies to start getting an Auto Insurance Quote and Home Owner’s Insurance quotes, too. It took several calls to several companies before I finally got a decent and reasonable auto insurance quote and I finally decided which company to go with. I compared all the home owner’s insurance quotes and the auto insurance quotes, and finally found one company that gave me a reasonable rate to combine both coverages, so I decided to go with them.
