Losing A Cap Is No Fun

A few months back I was at a nice restaurant having dinner with my girlfriend and her parents. It was her parents anniversary so we took them out to eat. I was eating my dinner when all of a sudden the cap on my left front tooth came off. If you’ve never lost a cap, you really have no idea of the pain and embarrassment associated with losing one. The cap actually fell out of my mouth and into my plate. Everyone knew what had happened when they heard the loud “ding” noise as the cap smacked against the plate and they looked up at me holding my mouth. Luckily my girlfriends mother had some Dentemp OS in her purse so I was able to go into the bathroom and temporarily repair it. I couldn’t finish my meal, as I was too nervous that it would fall off again. To my surprise the temporary dental repair material actually held the cap on until I was able to get in to see my dentist a couple of days later. Every since that happened I have carried a little container of Dentemp OS with my wherever I go. You don’t have to mix anything up, so there’s really no mess, it dries relatively fast and you can even eat on it.
