A while back a friend of mine had to convert his car’s old air conditioning to the newer system or he would not have been able to get his air conditioner refilled without paying an arm and a leg. He paid nearly $200 to have it switched over to the newer system. It came full of freon and blows very cold now. You would think any freon would work in any air conditioner, but I guess not.
