The Ever Convenient God

I don’t pretend to be Mother Theresa but I do have a great respect for God and an even better relationship with Him. What I can’t comprehend is why is it that when people are facing a disaster they all of a sudden become a praying unit and talk about God this and God that as if that would redeem their own lives in the middle of a crisis. Just amazing. And then when the calamity has passed, these same people would not even acknowledge God for waking them up on mornings or even at the time that he sends them blessings. People may want to check themselves that they remain consistent in their dealings with Him.
