Kids Shoes Are Expensive

I am a firm believer of letting kids be kids. Therefore I don’t buy in to shopping for brand name clothes or shoes for my kid. I mean what is the sense in purchasing an expensive brand new item for a toddler whom is not able to appreciate it or who will outgrow it eventually? So on my last shopping trip; I picked out some reasonably priced shoes for my daughter much to the disgust of her father. Upon his prompting and with the use of his money I took the baby to Nike to get shoes. I couldn’t believe my eyes, imagine $16.00 for a pair of sneakers and $18.00 for dress shoes. I was blown away by these prices. Yes the shoes looked good and appeared to be durable but wow that was expensive. Anyway, looking on the bright side of things, at least I didn’t have to pay out of my own pocket.
