Bling Bling Can’t Keep The Man

It seems to be the latest trend that I have not and will never get caught up in where women are treating their men to everything from clothing to cell phone and even paying off their bills. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m all up for treating my husband to nice things, especially if it is not a special occasion. But the key word is “husband”, why would I go all out for a boyfriend like that? My girlfriend always makes that mistake with men and the repercussions of this after they break up are devastating. She would leave herself undone so that she could afford nice clothes, jewelry and bling bling for her man. Her theory “he has to look good when he’s going out with me”. That may be so but it does not guarantee that the man would stay faithful or even stick around for a long lasting relationship. So far the clothes and cell phone etc. has not keeping my girlfriend and her man together the way she would like it to be. Instead he blatantly disrespects her by dating other women and talking to them on the phone at late hours while she lay next to him. I wish she would just get a clue. She’s always boasting about how many degrees she holds; it’s a pity they don’t have degrees for common sense.
