Unless a man is married to a woman, he should stay clear from opening a joint account with her. Because the minute things start heading into the direction of breaking up, the first thing the woman would do is to clean out the bank account. We have seen these scenarios time and again, but the question is would men and women ever learn from this? Even if a couple is not married but living together, a joint account is only recommended to combine money for bills or for a child they may share together. Otherwise they should get separate savings account of their own incase the unexpected in the relationship happens.
